The FCCA has run the Fullerton Chinese School for many years. Many students have attended and can remember the joys of studying Chinese every Saturday morning at Sunny Hills High School. For some, this joy is still being experienced every weekend. For others however, this may be but a distant memory.

What happened to those friends you made in class while not paying attention? Where are they now? What are they up to? Enter the FCCA-SGA. The SGA was created with the realization that the many former students of the Fullerton Chinese School have gone down diverging journeys in life.

The goal of the SGA is to provide opportunities for people with common background and culture to come together. Through this group, we can give back to the community, make new friends, and network.

We feel that there needs to be more unity between the Chinese second generation, which would allow us to better benefit not just our group, but the community as well. Certainly you've seen your other Asian friends with strong cultural groups. We have so much talent and diversity that we can defintely do great things.

You may be wondering why you need to pay a $10 membership fee to join the SGA. Basically, this goes towards events that the SGA organizes. This group is for every member, not just the board. We encourage you as a member to help decide where your membership fee will go. Give the board feedback on what you would like to see the SGA do. Anyone is open to attend our board meetings and help plan. Just send us an email at fccasga@gmail.com with any feedback. Remember, the board is here for you.

If you have community service events you want to do, summer camps you think we can help out at, job openings at the company you work at, let us know. Are there any topics you would like to see an informational session on? Just let us know.
